Tragedy in Las Vegas: ‘Confirmed active shooter’ at UNLV Causes Chaos, Leaves Multiple Victims

On Wednesday, December 6th, The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed some terrifying news.

An active shooter reportedly shot at civilians at the UNLV campus, causing multiple victims. It is now confirmed that the suspect is also deceased.

The university first reported the incident in an online post on X at about 11:53 a.m., stating, “University Police responding to report of shots fire in BEH evacuate to a safe area, RUN-HIDE-FIGHT.”

Later on the timeline, UNLV would update to tell everyone to stay alert, and cautious.

“Please shelter in place. This remains an active investigation. The suspect has been contained, according to police,” the tweet stated.

At about 12:32 p.m., the Las Vegas Police Department confirmed and updated that one suspect had been located and was deceased.

At the latest news, police were supposedly evacuating people from buildings, one at a time.
